Assembly Experience as a Teacher Trainee

As a part of my teacher training, we had the opportunity to conduct the school assembly by ourselves, and it was a very valuable experience. I was given the responsibility of reading the English words and meaning and Two Moral Qualities, which helped me build confidence in speaking clearly in front of the whole school. Working with the other trainees to organise prayers, thought for the day, and announcements taught me coordination, time management, and leadership. The assembly helped me understand how to handle responsibilities in a real school environment.

Drug Awareness program

Drug Awareness program  10 November 2024 Today, our college conducted a drug awareness program. This session was organized by the Drug Care Centre at Aasaripallam Government Hospital, Kanyakumari. They raised awareness about drug addiction among young children. They also showed pictures of cancer patients affected by drug addiction, including the use of tobacco, liquor, etc. This session was highly informative and helpful. Challenges: The session was brief, and as pre-service teachers, we need more awareness about drug addiction. However, I still found it very helpful.
